question about leg room in the RX8
because I'm pretty tall about 6'5, and I was curious about how much leg room there is.. is there enough room to sit comfortably
I plan to go test drive one on my next day off...any reply's would be greatly appreciated thanks

yup, plenty.
I'm 6'4, pretty evenly divided between legs and torso. I drive mine one notch forward from the whole way back, unless I'm on the highway, when i move it back the whole way. I find it easier to reach the clutch one forward.
Much better legroom than a boxster, BTW, which I really can't drive.
Best advice is to give one a try. They are much tighter on headroom than legroom, though I fit fine (I have a touring).
Cheers :D

I'm 6'2", and I have no problems at all. It's alot bigger than a Miata or anything of that ilk.
Although I think you should be good, optional equipment like the leather vs cloth seats are actually whole different seats and have different heights and dimensions, and a sunroof can lower the ceiling height changing the amount of seating space so think about what options you will want and sit in THAT car.
Should be OK though, but you do need to try it for yourself

I'm 6' 2" and there's more legroom than you imagine there would be. You have to like the feeling of being hugged because that's what the seats will do to you. I like to say it feels like a large breasted woman hugging me and not letting go!
I've taken my 8 on a 4 hour trip and it was VERY comfortable.
I've noticed that big guys like to drive big trucks but there's less legroom in a Chevy or Ford truck than the 8. Entry and exit will be tight but legroom should not be a problem.

I am 6'3", long legs(34-36 inseam). I have a 6sp Sport package. Leg room shouldn't be a problem. I found 1 notch or 2 forward most comfortable. Depending on your proportion, head room is more a concern for me. I test drove a GT and my hair was touching the liner. That's why I went with the Sport, gained at least an inch or so in headroom without the sunroof. If you ever plan to use a helmet, definitely go for the additional headroom. I also found the manual seat adjustment has a more comfortable position for me. Anyway, you will have to try to find out what's most comfortable for you.
