Question on "Rack, n , pinion"

Hi, I have question on "Rack,n,pinion" part
I recently ran into a piece of rubber tire on a highway
and I went to a body shop to check my car.
Mechanic told me my "rack, n, pinion" has a crack but the part is not leacking.
how much is OEM "rack, n, pinion"
or should i go with Aftermarket part?
if i do go with aftermarket part, which brands are recommended?

Thank you guys

the guy told me it has a small dent but thankfully its not leaking.

do you think it would be ok to go with used one as a replacement?

Thank you

Is the current one working? It is an electric motor..and the cover doesn't have much to do with anything....

Put a piece of duct tape on it if there is a hole...

If it quits..get a used one and swap them out
