quick question

this has probably been asked and answered, but i tried searching the forum and came up with nothing.

iight so knowing that the rx-7 has engine problems, does the rx-8 have the same problems since both cars are rotary engines? does the 8 blow up as well? im wondering because im thinking about purchasing one and would like to know the goods and bads. jus need some more detail about it. as far as how long will the car last me to whatever. thanks guys!

Just don't store any C-4 in the engine compartment and I think you'll be ok......

Since the RX-8 doesn't have a twin turbo set up like the last RX-7 you cannot compare the two. You can compare it to the RX-7's with non turbo engines and you will have your answer.

the car will last as long as you want it to, provided you give it proper maintenance. The search button is your new all-time bessstest friend in the WORLD! There have been many people considering a rotary engine for the first time that have asked that question so just search away and you'll find all your answers.

C'mon, did you really search? You know, that little box up there on the right, did you ACTUALLY type anything in there? And I mean something meaningful like "durability" or "engine failure", and then actually look at the results.

In case you were wondering, the answer is yes, our cars blow up all the time. Mine exploded yesterday on the way to work. It was a real mess. You should buy a civic instead. They don't blow up

Not my car, my engine actually imploded. Now when I open my hood all the surrounding light gets sucked in, it's very inconvenient....

Mine's powered by C4. The engine is *supposed* to blow up.

I've only had my 8 for a year and I've needed 4 engines. Step away from the forums and you will be forgiven.
