quick question

im new to the love of the rx8, im bout 6'2 and was wondering if the driver seat was able to move down to make more head room.

nope. HAve to move it all the way back.

Depends upon your torso.

Get in one and take test drive.

If you have a GT with the power driver seat it can move down. but the sunroof eats your headroom so it may not be enough. Not sure if they have a package with power seat and without sunroof. If so that's your car.

The manual seat does move up and down. At least the back part of the seat does, raising/lowering your butt but leaving the front height and the backrest the same.

The only way to see if you'll fit is to try one on for size.

I'm 6 - 1 and I moved my seat all the way back and down as far as it will go.
I have about two inches of head room give or take but my legs are a little long and my body/torso is "normal".

As Ken said you'll need to just sit in one to see how it fits because people are "made" different even when the are about the same height.

im 6'2' and i fit perfectly in the cloth seats they adjust enough and even better in leather (i recently switched) but i like my seat back tilted quite a bit. so you should fit but its always better to try
