Quick Question - Brakes
My cars in need of new rotors and Pads, So I'm ordering the whole set but i went eBay, and found this set that look okay in my opinion.
One of my friends recently ordered his set from eBay and so far he hasn't had a problem. so i hope neither do I.
My question is though has anybody ever ordered either this or any other set from eBay, never actually purchased any car parts from them but your opinions are welcome.

Thanks in Advance.

Hmmm... Never tried those, of course... But maybe a member with firsthand experience will chime in.
I'm aiming to go with all OEM replacements when my 8 is due. So far, I'm very satisfied with the rotors and pads which came from the factory.

I HATE SPEEDBUMPS!
It depends on the parts your ordering. eBay is a reputable company with known vendors worldwide. For me, ordering brake parts on eBay is somewhat okay, but i won't know until i try it.

WTF are you talking about again, monchie?
OP, those don't look like a reliable set of rotors. Unless you can get a hold o OEM parts on ebay or known brand name parts, I wouldn't trust random parts on ebay. We are talking about brakes here, the things that stop a 3000+ lb fast moving lump of metal, plastic and glass. There are plenty of vendors on RX8club that offer great parts for discounted prices. You can even go with what maskferret posted...

SNTP when's that group buy for the ebay turbo kits starting? They come from a vendor listed by a reputable worldwide-known company so they must be good.
To the OP:
Never play with brake parts, there are cheap brands that are ok for everyday use as others have stated.
Buying unbranded car parts from ebay is stupid if you are not exactly sure about what you're ordering. Buying safety parts is...

I got to agree with everyone one here. I don't think it's worth it and honestly OEM rotors with a little better pad works great for me (multiple autox events and a couple of track days).
