im going to Vegas from LA to install my Viper 5901 alarm system (for free.. YAY!) and was wondering if there is anything i should check up before i go.... (i know bring extra oil... and of course the occasional gas stops, i have never driven an 8 to vegas so im not sure how many stops it is for gas but im estimating at least 3)

im also going to get my oil changed there and switching from 5W20 to 5W30

wouldnt the gas cost offset the install cost?
that said, a little over two tanks should get you there and back

my cousin offered to do it for free, so yeah it would kind of offset the costs, but usually installation of the viper alarm sometimes would cost more than the actual alarm, so technically im saving money by driving out there than finding a shop that will actually install it for me

sorry had to take a quick nap before my 4 am drive
