R Magic's Titanium tipped exhaust

I have R Magic's Titanium tipped exhaust installed on my RX-8 today. The tips will change colors as I drive the car (because of heat from the exhaust gas). The sound is very nice and it is not obtrusive when I am driving sedately. But, if I press the gas, the car makes the angry deep growl.

I was told this exhaust's tips change colors depending on how hot the car was driven. So, each car with this exhaust can have the different shade of color for the exhaust tips.

I think I'd rather have my silver/usually-black tips than blue or purple ones..

Those colors are kinda ghey...

It was about USD 1000 and the Mazda dealer (the one I bought my 8) installed it for me after getting it from R Magic. The dealer took about 3 hours to install it. It took about 4 days for delivery from R Magic. If you go to their website (or Google "R Magic"), you see they do some exporting from Japan.

this new exhaust come with a new/smaller muffler? that is one thing I dont like about the current exhaust. the cavity the muffler goes into on the underbody is shallow and you can see the janky/large muffler sticking out from the underbody.

As far as I can tell, I don't see the exhaust system's underbelly from behind. The only thing I see is the tips of the exhaust. I saw the stock exhaust unit at the dealer after it was taken out (to install this R-Magic exhaust). I felt the stock exhaust unit is rather plain looking and look a little chubby.
