R32 or RX-8?

I currently own one of each and posted comparisons of the two several months ago. As most people said, what you expect and what you want should be the deciding factors. There are some significant differences, but both are a blast to drive. My R32 has 35K miles and has had zero defects or problems. Same for the RX-8 with 9K miles. The VW certainly has better resale value. Since it's been printed that the next generation R32 will come only with a DSG gearbox, the person who wants the regular manual has no choice but the Gen IV car. I would expect (hope) that factor keeps the resale values high.

If you didn't read, he asked about performance as well as daily driveability. I take it that you didn't like the video. Look, keep your negative comments to yourself. Granted, it is an old thread, I am personally interested in the comparison.
