Racing Beat Gauges

Does anyone have a picture of their 8 with the Racing Beat gauges installed? I know RB has an image on their website, but I was hoping a member would have more "real world" images in the day light, and lit up at night.

thanks AKuntze, I take it you saw my DIY thread?
A word of caution: late last year, Nordskog ceased operations and was cancelling orders. I received word that they were selling part of the company so I'm not sure if that ever happened or if they completely closed down.
I need to look into it more thorougly this weekend so I can post an update in my thread. I'd hate to let people think they can still get those, only to find out the products are discontinued.

I'm hoping the fact that I saw Nordskog's digital gauges on Summit Racing's website yesterday is a good sign.

Page 5 of Expo1's linked thread shows his setup, and the last page, 19, shows mine. I too followed his advice and substituted a Summit stainless flex line for the oil pressure.

Yes I saw the DIY thread as I was going through all 19 pages of the gauge thread last night. Well if the company is gone, it might put a slight kink into my idea to follow the DIY, but it does give some inspiration.

Thanks for pointing out the stainless steel lines as well. After reading through a lot of it, that was something i told myself i was going to do if I went with the RB setup.

yeah, it says haneline all over it and no mention of Nordskog.
I'm pretty sure they're done.
I'm trying to do some searches online and not coming up with much...

Well everyone, after all these years I'm ready to take the Racing Beat Gauge Pod plunge. I just spent the afternoon reading the entire 19 page thread. I'm gonna buy the complete RB package. But just a few questions first:

• For those of you who substituted the braided stainless steel line, any drawbacks to that at all? (i.e. does it let in more noise than before you installed gauges?)

• After having the RB gauges for a few years, any little problems develop? Rattles or vibrations that weren't there before?

• In some pix, I see you can notice the white edges of the gauges when looking from the sides. Is that true for all RB gauge installations? (If so, I might just paint the sides flat black before installing.)

• Looking back, any regrets?

Thanks everyone!
