Ran The 8 With The E-Brakes Engaged....
I made a mistake driving the 8 tonight, and I went from the roof of a parking lot to the streets before I realized my ebrakes were engaged.
And I wasn't going nicely. I was pushing the 8 around the corners.
How much damage did I do? It probably took me 2mins or so to get from the roof to the bottom.

Damage? I'm sorry but you probably blew an apex seal and a coolant seal with it. I bet your irons/housings are gone too. Sorry, i think you have to find some really good hook up for an engine replacement. Your whole rear subframe is probably gone too.
j/k ... Doubt theres any "damage."

Yea, probably no "damage". Worse case is that you may have warped the rear disc brake rotors because of the heat generated. I've ran with the e-brake on before (on a different vehicle) to the point that the brakes were squealing really bad. Even after driving for about 10 minutes like that there was no damage at all (except maybe to my ego).
Cheers!

Same here, just not in my 8. If you went all that way without noticing any hesitation (not sure how you can mis a huge lever sticking up next to the shifter.....but anyway) then I'm sure it was not engaged tight enough. You might actually need to tight it if you had the lever really high and the car moved. It should only take 5-7 clicks before the e-brake is engaged fully.

Since I dont do burn out type launches, I usually notice if the e-brake is on. It will move up a bit but then it won't go anywhere after that unless I gas it some more. But if I do that, then I wonder why I need to give it more gas and release the parking brake.

On flat surfaces you can just park the car in gear without using E-brakes. But I dont think its a good idea.

Warped rotors or glazed pads is about the worst you could have done, aside from boiling the brake fluid, which you would have noticed when you were unable to stop.
If it feels/sounds fine, you're probably fine.
You might want to buy a second 8 and just to be safe though.

Wait a minute.............you mean that handle between the seats is an e-brake.. Fing dealer told me that pulling that handle engages the warp drive that enables me to beat WRX's, Lancer's, Stangs and the like in a straight line not just on curves.
Man I better be able to shot laser beams from my head lights like the dealer said or I'm really gonna be PO'd

Running with e-brakes on is okay, but running and then stopping with e-brakes on will warp your rear rotors.
You see, the part where the pads are clamped will cool much slower than the exposed part of the rotor. A lot of amateur traffic light racers get warped rotors this way. They cook up the rotors stopping the car from high speed then keep their brakes engaged at the traffic light.
