LOL..... but seriously enough of the bitching guys it is boring and sad.... Everyone wants to have the last word here and be clever and mean .... and ain't no one meaner than me. I used to make PR girls cry.... (OK I am ashamed of that now).
Serious question - what are the guys in this thread using for premix and oil.
I should say a) I have read so many conflicting ideas and b) I live in Hawaii where it is NEVER cold.
I think they did 5/20 after the new engine was put in. I had been running a bit heavier but for the last while I have just let them stick in what they felt was "right".
Any thought gratefully received. (Except the thought "Go search" - been there done that!).
Aloha

Hundreds of threads with thousands of posts have beaten this topic to death, no need to start hijacking a thread when that so called "search" feature would have given you more information than is really needed.
Comes in to keep the peace, yet posts regarding the most controversial topic
I reiterate this thread should be closed, its beyond asinine and is just turning into a skeptical.

I think he means premix and oil type during break-in.
So what kind of oil do the engine builders use for that first fill? It's my belief that Mazda does the factory fill with 5w20 dino, but I've never seen confirmation of that. Some manufacturers use a special break-in oil.
