I've noticed over the past few days that whenever I go over some semi-rough concrete that I get a ticking or creaking from somewhere around the rear window. As I'm sitting in the driver's seat I haven't been able to locate it specifically, but seeing the way the window is installed, I wonder.

Has anyone else noticed this in their 8?

 

Yup, I've noticed it too, but have not localized it. Please let me know if you do. To me, it sounds more like it's coming from the door, as if I push hard against it with my left arm, I can get the crick sound to go away.

 

My rear window doesn't creak, but it sure fogs up easily. Seems recently there has been a lot of moisure on the inside of the back window. Nothing the rear defrost can't take care of. Just curious if anyone else has had this issue?

 

My rear window has fogged up easily since I got the car. Some cars just do that. I remember my '92 Miata's windshield used to fog up at the drop of a hat.

I don't think I've encountered the rear window creaking yet. I did hear a single creak or "croak" from that area today coming home, but it only did it once and then quit.

 

my front one fogs up alot.
