Has anyone tried the ZFX™ Flash Cure Accelerator Additive?
Or the Z-16 tire gloss?
Last question concerns "new car" paint protectant that should be removed which is mentioned at the Zymol site. If it's true, would the Zaino cut through this?
Comments and opinions on the ZFX and tire gloss would be appreciated.

Our cars are new and should not need the clay bar. I did not use one on my car.

I can't recommend Meguiars NXT enough... I think it looks as good as Zaino's, and certainly goes on and comes off as easy or easier than Zaino's. They also have a supplemental booster wax for in between waxings, much like Zaino. I've also been using their car wash, which is meant to supplement their wax and has an antistatic component. It's worth checking out, especially since you can find it locally and it's a lot cheaper.
Below is a pic with one coat of NXT... I'll have more tomorrow at the Chicago Rev-it-up...

How do you know Zaino is longer lasting? There has not been any comparisons yet as Maguire's NXT is a new wax.

The tire gloss is incredible, looks great, but the best thing about it is that the shine lasts longer than anything else imo. Armor all only lasts a day or two as do most others. This stuff looks great for a week, and looks pretty good for longer than that.
I like the leather cleaner too, but for some reason didn't try leather in a bottle. That is next. The leather cleaner smells great and makes the leather look like new.
I don't care for the "plastic" product of theirs, can't recall the number.

The other thing about the Zaino tire gloss that's nice is it doesn't fling off onto the panel behind the tires as you drive down the road, like a lot of those "wet look" tire foams and sprays do.

I just used Zaino for the first time....applied once and used the NFX accelerator....looks really good but I think I need more coats cuz it doesn not look like G8rboy's sweet black one.....or is it because my car is silver and it does not show as much??? It was easy to put on and take off. Trying to go to Mazda Rev it Up Event today in Illinois.....sunny and 80 today...perfect!!!

Since I got my car in September it has only been washed 6 times. I dust it off each night in the garage, and once in a while use Z6 detail spray on it.
I did the claybar and then the whole Zaino routine the first weekend I had it.
Bugs and bug splatter wipe off without any problem with a wet Microfiber cloth, and then Z6 spray once the splatter is removed.
I have been 'waxing' my own cars for 30+ years and nothing I have used has ever lasted as long as Zaino, or gave such depth to silver as Zaino. Zaino is also the easiest to use, it's just the initial application that is time consuming.
Almost all 'waxes' if done right will look spectacular on a black (or dark color) car. What is the real test is how a lighter color looks after the 'waxing'.

Just finished a prep with Meguiars #9 to get the paint ready (rather than a clay app.) and followed up with NXT. Wow - and I thought Gold Class was easy. The NXT goes on and comes off easily with virtually no residue (powder) when buffed off. All things being equal, I think I'm gonna be an NXT user for a loooong time.

Well, took the Zaino plunge.
The ZFX accelerant seems unnecesary but I ordered it anyway. Although it significantly reduces Z-2 drying time, I wonder if it "cures" better if ZFX isn't used. I'm an impatient type so I went for it.
Also, I bought the Zaino car wash. Does anyone really believe it's better than any other carwash made specifically for clearcoat?
Finally, I read at the Zaino site that it was applied in direct AZ sunlight and dried in 3-5 minutes. Is it ok to apply in direct sunlight? I've always thought cars should be washed and waxed in the shade or inside the garage (wax).

My recommendation is that new car owners do themselves a favor and clay bar the car before waxing it. I also recommend the Zaino kit. It was pricey to purchase everything all at once, but it comes with good directions and works amazingly well.

I was thinking of trying Griots first, has anybody tried that? They seem very safety concious, so no scratches or anything. Until now I have had to use wax from a spray and wash
, which makes the car look pretty good but only lasts a short time. Griots claim a bottle of their Best in Show caranuba based wax lasts 4-6 months.

I just used it yesterday will let you know, I doubt it will last that long though. The only downside to Griots is if you don't take it off right away it's kind of hard to get off unless you really scrub and of course that could cause spiderwebbing.
