Red Caliper Painted (warning** PICS ARE HUGE)
Hey, fellas,
I have never introduced my 8 yet, since I bought it lol
It's not in great condition plus its dirty.
I will upload pics when car is in stunning shape.
But over the weekend, I have painted my calipers.
I have seen many threads here talking about... like "power coating" or "do it yourself" and what not.
I decided to do it myself, since I had to rotate tires anyways.
I bought brushed on paint fron advanced autopart, (dont use spray, it comes off easily) I got that and put 3 coats on.
Red caliper kit = 17 bucks
Time effort and my labor = 3 hours.
Great look on my 8 = PRICELESS
I def like this way WAY BETTER
Looks awesome, plus I have red interrior
Here are some pics Enjoy. (sorry they are huge, i didnt have time to resize it

What's the best/cheap way to get rid of rust on rotor?
I heard peopel saying buy this kit from dealership?
THanks

hmmm I checked this paint out at Advanced's web site and the packaging and contents look IDENTICAL to G2 Caliper paint. I wonder if it is the same company and or quality at half the price of G2. How has it been holding up so far?

Nice. personally i would do the calipers black or silver.. the red stands out too much and the way its designed just doesn't seem to match. For EXAMPLE, the cut out part that shows the brake pads is blackish.. and looks weird, but to each his own
