Red RX-8 in Dealership Showroom in Utah
I just got back from the Bountiful Mazda dealership. They say this is "1 of 2" in the USA. There was a "No. 2" in the drivers window. Obviously this isn't one of two rx-8s but maybe of the production versions. They also said this is the first time it's been in a dealerships showroom. I took a bunch of pictures, I will see what I can do about posting them somewhere since reducing them to post here doesn't do some of them justice.
My impressions: Damn now it's going to be even harder to wait till mine gets here :D Love the interior quality. I'm 6'4" and plenty of room in the front seat, back seat...... yeah well I won't be sitting back there and everyone I know that would be is a lot shorter than me, so it works out. I do have to agree the red color is nice, but I still love my titanium grey that I saw on the 2002 SE miata.
It can not get here soon enough for me.

Oh and I forgot. My father is really picky with cars inside and out, and is seldomly impressed with any vehicle out there. THIS he was impressed with!!!! A few styling aspects that he doesn't like (like the fender wells) but he does like it. He actually keeps hinting what it will take for me to screw up and have to sell it to him :p

No offense, but if I had any choice in the matter I would not have chosen Utah to show off a new RX-8. I would love to know how the dealer pulled off this stunt. If it were a corporate allocation issue would it not make sense to have this in the showroom of a Florida, Texas or California dealer where more potential buyers are located?

Ahhh the sweet sound of jealousy.... It's only going to be here a total of 3 days, my guess is that it's probably going to be going to a lot of dealerships around the country. Now I could be wrong about that, but why would they put it here for 3 days and no where else???
