Is redlining a good idea?
Ive heard that it is beneficial to redline your engine to help clean out any carbon or other junk that might build up. However I have also head that redlining can warp the shaft that the engine rotates around. Any insight into this would be extremely helpful.

And yes, you can be in control even during redlining...eg. accelerating into 2nd and 3rd at 9.6k rpm will bring up the traction control light.
