Yeah, I only hit it accidentally once or twice on extremely cold mornings. When pulling away from a stop where I park and going up a steep hill while turning you almost can't shift from 1st to 2nd (especially in the ice and snow) so this is when I come close to hitting it. I wouldn't even have enough torque or momentum to move my 8 up this hill if I shifted any sooner. Most occasions the car is warmed enough when I leave that this is not a problem.

I wasn't sure what it was exactly but read on here a couple of times a while back that there was a fuel cut at 4000k rpm when cold, so I assumed that's what it was.
