what kind of rental cars are you guys getting from mazda. my 8 was in the shop twice and the dealership tells me"mazda only pays for like 15$/day or something like that. " Then, I have to get the car from some outside company. All the guy had was a ford escort. mazda really likes to cut corners

 

I think that Mazda has a contract with Enterprise Rental cars.....When my car was in the shop, that's where they sent me to get my car and I've seen some other posts where others have done the same thing.

At first they gave me a Cavalier, but I complained about how crappy the brakes were and they gave me a Mazda3 until I was rea ended....They then gave me a SUV to drive.

 

I had mine in for the TSB brake replacement this week. They gave me a Mazda 6. When I have had my wife's MPV serviced they gave me a Mazda 6 as well. Seems like my dealership keeps several of those for customers.

 

I got an old mazda protege wagon that was just awful smelling and driving.

 

I guess every dealership is different. I think im gonna go ask those guys at the dealership whats up with their bad service

 

I just had my 8 in for some minor warranty service and they sendt me to Hertz. Great service.

 

My dealership gave me a 2003 Mazda 3 as a loaner. I can see them not wanting to use the 8's as loaner cars, but I would have been happier with a 6.

 

My Mazda dealer uses Hertz. One time a Malibu (yecch), next time a Mazda 6.

 

my dealership in savannah gave me a linclon town car signature series.....talk about a huge boat ... made me real nervouse as i was used to my 8...i had that bad boy for 6 days. LOL

 

I got a mazda 3 and mazda miata mt. I want a 6 next!

 

Last time the dealer had my car (when it flooded), they gave me a Mazdaspeed Miata that was on the lot, I had it for two days.

 

I got the biggest POS neon. I hated every minute of it. so power ANYTHING. Cheap bastards.

 

The two times it was in for service, they gave me Ford Escape Loaners--when I had my leather done, they gave me a Mazda 6.

 

I've got Kia Reno, Honda Accord and Kia Amanti from Enterprise before.

 

Everytime mine has been in the shop (all minor) I have gotten a courtesy shuttle home from some friendly chap who must be really low on the totem pole. I guess my situations never warranted a rental. The most recent visit they had my car for roughly 25 hours. Not too bad considering I had a pcm reflash done, new brakes, oil change, tire rotation, fixed a seat prob, and fixed a prob with the lights on the radio. It was all done in about a day so I guess I cant complain about no rental...

 

I got a dodge mini van the first time and a mitsu lancer the next. i cant wait to see what i get next time

 

I got one of the used cars off their lot, a Toyota Camry, accelerated ok, handled like pushing a wet noodle, felt like riding a 2000 lb marshmallow. It felt SO good to get back in the 8.

 

Jim Ellis Marietta gave me a 6 for the day when they checked out my nav system. I can't believe I considered buying a 6 at one time. What a piece...

 

I have only had my car in the shop overnight once. I got a loaded corvette as my rental!! j/k... ;-) My rental was from Enterprise, it was a Mazda3. Nice ride!! :D

I got a regular mazda6 the first time and a v6 mazda6 wagon the second time. Both automatic, boring. Glad I went with the rx8 and not the mazda6 when I bought my car.
