Right hand drive conversion

Being an enthusiast doesn't encompass doing things for the sake of doing them. The amount of fabrication and work that would be required to convert your RX8 to a right hand drive vehicle would be quite extensive considering there would be zero performance benefit. The only gain would be saying you have a RHD car.
There is a problem with that though...
The process of conversion would require the alteration of various safety equipment which means if you were ever involved in an accident on the street it's very likely that you would be denied any insurance compensation the moment the company found out that the vehicle had been tampered with in such a manner.
You would honestly be better off buying a RHD RX8 and having it imported than doing a conversion on your own RX8.
Quite a lot of risk, time and money for what could only be done for the purpose of bragging rights that your RHD.
So, that's why people are asking "why".
