I could set it up on another FTP, or even Kazaa. If I could get it..

I have got it up on Kazza

Ok. I have it up on Kazaa. Do a search for TechHighlights. Happy to take other suggestions on how to host it.

eccles,

Appreciate you hosting the .iso file. I finished the download and burned it to CD. What a GREAT CD. I am really impressed with all the technicals with this car. Helps me understand what makes this car so unique and special. Makes me want the car even more. We have one IMPRESSIVE vehicle coming to us folks.

Eccles was kind enough to drive over to my house and Drop of the TechHighlights CD.

I've put it on Kazaa, as Techhighlights.iso

If it turns out that it's not working or nobody can find it on Kazaa, I'll start up on an FTP Server.

Hmm, I not sure why this isn't showing up in Kazaa. I've started an upload to another serverm which should allow you to download it at a decent rate. (No Cable Upload Limiters) Which should allow you to download it at a decent rate. I'll post that link as soon as it's done.

DAMN!! I am dying to see this thing and have been trying multiple times today to download it.

I can't get to it on any of the listed hosts.

I can't even find ftp.snikte.net anymore.

Sorry, I had to reboot the server. (It's a Windows box, obviously.) It's back up now, but unless your ISP is comcast.net, someone else has beaten you to it again. Sorry, dude.

The CD is 548 megs. Even compressed. It's about 515 meg.

I'm still uploading to an FTP server, which will be done tomorrow morning. It taking about 10 hours for the CD to upload, the same as if someone was downloading it from a Home FTP, because of the limiters put on upload stream. Once it's uploaded you should be able to download it, and a fairly reasonable speed. So tomorrow morning I'll post the link.

I now have a CD-ROM burned from the ISO file and it was well worth the effort. Thank you to all concerned for making this available to us. :D

Ok it's ready, you should be able to pull it down pretty quick if you have a decent connection. If you have the means please spread the wealth. (Help host the file at other locations).

Wow this Technical CD is really cool. Thanks Eccles!
I thought it was just a bunch of technical notes on paper, but it a bunch of cool technical training videos on CD. I've already learned a ton more about the car, just by watching one of the videos..

*** RX-8 CD ***

Wow, what an awesome CD !!! This thing got tonnes little things you want to know about RX-8. You want to know when this value and that value opens and closes and for how long ? this thing has all the answers.

I highly recommend ANYONE who is interested in this car to get this CD, burn it, and keep it as a collector's item.

I got my file downloaded from eccles (Thanks Bud !).

Given the fact that most people would who want to get this file, may I suggest anyone who is able to host this file setup their FTP so the people who got the file already can upload it to their site so more people can download it.

I will be more than happy to upload my file if anyone wants to host it for other people on this site.

11 hours later and I have a copy. I wish I had the space to do the same (we only have 150 megs of storage online). Thanks to all for hosting a copy. I look forward to giving it a spin.

I'm having trouble with the iso file, has anybody else? I have tried two different computer and two different burners niether could burn the image. They both said it was not a good image file. What software was used to create the image?

Thanks for the help.

For those that downloaded the .iso file...

I too had a problem getting Roxio 5 Platinum to read this .ISO file ( I am running WinXP)

I WAS ABLE to get the .iso to burn to disc succesfully using Nero 5.5. Anyone can download this utility and use it in its' 'demo' state to make a CD from the ISO image.

Let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

Sorry you're having trouble - I hope it hasn't been damaged in the multiple hops it seems to be taking. It was created witn NTI CD-Maker Deluxe.

If I can ever get this file downloaded, I'll put it up on an FTP server...I'll post a link once I do. (currently downloading very slowly at about 23 k/sec)
