Rotary Engine Model?
A couple of years back my son and I build a small model of an inline 4 cylinder engine. The case was was transparent, so you could see the parts as they moved. It came with a battery pack and illustrated how the engine and ignition sequence worked. There was a little distributor and light bulbs to represent spark. It was very cool.
Has anyone seen a rotary version similar to what I have described?

That is so cool. Thanks for the link!
Is that actually a model for the renesis? Or just a generic Mazda rotary, not necessarily in the rx8? IS it 2-rotor?

I have that model. It is 1/5 scale. I also have a 1/4 scale model and a 1/3 scale engine kit that was made in the late '60's! It has dual distributors and peripheral intake ports. It has to be one of the first rotary engine models ever made. I bought them off of eBay. You can find anything there. I've seen a couple of others that I don't have yet too.
