Rotary Mechanic in NW Houston, TX

I have a CEL P0661 that I need to get the issue resolved. I travel a lot for work, so unfortunately I don't have the time to handle it myself. I'm trying to find a reliable mechanic in the NW Houston area. I don't want to have to take it to the dealer unless I have no other choices or I get a good referral on one.

Thanks for your help. It's an '04 with 80k on car with 30k on new motor.

You should read through this thread to at least understand what that code means and get an idea.

For mechanics in Houston maybe someone that works on rx8's will chime in but it seems most of the "specialist" are in Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio. Im in Houston and I get my rotary work done at this great shop in Tomball. They mainly specialize in European cars and do awesome work. I've had many things done at this shop and saved a **** ton of money vs if i would have gone to a Mazda dealer. You'd think it would be expensive because their lot is covered in BMW's/Mercedes but they worked on my rx8 dirt cheap. I've built a relationship with these guys for over 2 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I dont know of anyone else.

Casari's

If you call them over the phone they will say bring it in, Casari hates diagnosing cars over the phone lol. There's a small fee to diagnose of course like at any mechanic but it will be applied to your balance. You could just call anyways and chat with him he's cool.
