The rotary shape

I like how Mazda designed the rotary (triangle) shape into the various parts of the RX-8. What I think is really clever is how the triangle (rotary) shape shows in less obvious ways.

Note: It's all in fun.....

uh, thats actually kinda lame. Most if not all of those "triangles" can be found on any car. I saw 3 of them on my wifes mustang. I guess it's becuase Ford owns mazda and was secretly planting "Triangles" there to lure me into my 8.

Talking ha! lol...

dude -- did you fail geometry...

your fifth picture "t_angle3a.jpg" is does not contain any real triangles... LOL

all in fun... but yes i did notice many rotary cues...

especially the hood! but even that seems contrived and you need a little imagination!

you missed a bunch oh them! I don't have the time to make pictures though...

There is the engine cover
the hood has a big triangle in it to go along with the engine cover
The seat backs for the head rest
the rotory accent package
the shift ****
you can get the wheel center rotory covers
you can also get the air plugs that are rotorys (and let someone steal them...)

I forget the others ones...I don't even have the car yet, but i always liked how they integrated the rotory into everything.

aren't there any more? there has to be some on the bottom of the car...hehehe

As long as the wheels aren't triangular, I'm happy!

Cheers

I was mowing the lawn today and found myself cutting from the edges, inward, in a rotor-like shape. The saddest part is that my lawn is rectangular :p

I didn't include them because they were the obvious ones
and yes you can see similar shapes on other cars if you look hard enough, but I think the designers had a lot of fun with the '8'

Some of you guys just fall for every piece if crap going, amazing.

What is also amazing is that you get the same triangle in every car on the road, maybe more.

One more - if you take the engine apart, and look inside the rotor chamber, there is a triangular shaped device inside that! Amazing!

d00d, my friend has a Nissan with a 4-cylinder engine. We were looking and there's circles _everywhere_ on it! There's the tires, the gas cap, the stereo *****, and even ... the steering wheel! Pretty amazing!

Actually, sounds like you missed the other one in there. :p

Check inside the clear lens of the headlights - along the bottom of the housing. There's a teeny tiny one in each.
