Lightbulb Rotary Talk Some Turbo stuff

You guys ever wonder how the rotors keep there momentum well spining when our car makes a turn? And how they fight the g-forces stuff like that.

On a side note I was thinking, ok I take that back I am designing a turbo that will work off exhaust and magnetics. Hell if I know if it will work or not I just like to do stuff like this. What way will it benefit? well I was thinking it will spool faster add more hp stuff like that and it can be cantrolled by a ****. I dont know what do you guys think?

magnet's would be tough. for example a rail gun uses rapid positive and negative pulses to accelerate an object along a path, and it could be used to spin a turbo turbine but would need electricity to power it. Plus it would have to be quite a jolt to equal the force that exhaust gas produces.

The flux "capcitor" is a stupid Idea. you mise well ask Mazda to rev limit your car to 88mhp. What fun is that.

Take this for instance.
You travel back in time to 1950 to show off your car, but they will all laugh at you because it only goes 87mph.

Arrow Eclectic.....

If by magnetic, you mean electric - the electric motor powered "turbo" was invented a long time ago.

The main problem ends up as draw from the electrical system, you might get a good boost for a short time, but eventually you have to generate enough juice to keep it spinning.

A motor that could boost the intake pressure to even a few psi could easily draw 5000 watts (5kW) and you would have to generate maybe 8kW to charge your battery, which would take about 20 HP at the accessory belt....you can see where this is going.

I think means a tandem system where a motor is used to boost the spool-up rate and reduce lag. That seems like a better implementation.... not sure how exactly it could be set up though.

Interserting. I'll have to do some more research and planning. Back to the drawing board!

Why dont people just drive in the direction the wind is blowing to increase the percieved HP? Seems like that would be a cheap option.
