Rough turning at low speed

Rough turning at low speed
Sometimes, when pulling away from a stop and turning, the car feels very rough. Almost like the traction control is kicking in when it shouldn't. Over the weekend I pulled away from a stop, turning left, and actually stopped about a hundred feet away to check if one of the tires had gone flat. It felt very much like it was a wobbly flat tire. The tires were all fine.
This only happens occasionally.
Any ideas?
Anyone experience anything similar?
Note that I've searched around a bit, but don't have a good enough set of terminology to describe it to turn anything up.
Thank you for any insights.

Guys I may be barking up the wrong tree, but I think it might be the Limited Slip Differential...does it seem to be coming from the rear? Mine does it too, only occasionally and only on tight, slow turns.
If this is it, it is normal operation of the differential (it is trying to prevent the rear wheels from turning at different speeds).
Hope this helps.

Had the same thing and just got it fixed a couple of weeks ago. It would do the same thing after I'd driven it for a while. Getting in and out of parking spaces and slow turns were bad - grinding, clunky, shuddering... and I have 24K miles. I read a few other threads about this issue. Shaunv74 rode with me and said it felt/sounded like the differential. Took it to the dealer - they said they didn't feel anything when they drove it (I don't think they drove slow enough and sharp enough turns), but they drained and refilled the diff. twice. No problem at all now.

I get the same thing! I took my car in for service on wed and I noticed it a little wed and thursday, but it got real bad on friday. Going into turns and coming out of turns I could def feel something wrong. The dealer worked on my rear differential.....im looking at my invoice that I got from them and all it said for the rear differential is, replaced the lube and gasket. But before I went to get my car serviced, everything was working great and now it feels def weird.....like what everyone is describing.
Not sure what to do!!
