The opposite is true. At high rpms, the water pump is cavitating and can no longer effectively function. The underdrive pully will help.

I just picked up Royal Purple 75w90 Gear Oil and goin to put it in the Tranny one day this week...hopefully it will get rid of the 5th Gear Grind I have on the 2k mile old tranny...many people have said to go with SyncroMesh....should I return the RP and get some Penzzoil?

I found the cheapest prices on RP online.

PM me too! I waisted time driving to stores that supposedly had RP oil, only to find they didn't. I need to change all my fluids out in the next month.

Call around to local speed shops. They are the most likely to actually stock it.

yeah my local shop here has rp all the time, except every other satuarday morning cause everyone goes racing sunday, I also have a 10% discount on products there so it helps alot.

If your doing the install yourself, you're probably looking at around 700-800 dollars, depending on whether you have access to cheaper prices through friends, or friends who know distributers or drop shippers.

royal purple....75w90 still grind going into 5th...time to go to syncromesh?

install took 15 min...i love pouring it in through the shifter!

I replaced the MT and diff fluid with Royal Purple 75W90, now my cabin smells like rotten egg lol.
