RPM of Renesis
I have heard various comments on the actual rpm of the renesis/actual ignition fires, etc.
But what I am curious about is:
Is the flywheel rpm going to match the tachometer?

The flywheel rpm is what ultimately matters. That is what connects the motor to the clutch/transmission/wheels. apparently, on both piston and rotory cars, the tachometer matches the flywheel rpm, so there would not be any sense in making the rx8 tach show 3000, because the flywheel really IS going at 9000 rpm.
If the rx8 was at only 3000 rpm, there is no way 159 pound feet of torque would get 232 bhp; in fact, it would be impossible to even get 159 bhp, sense bhp and torque are always identical at 5252 rpm, and below that, torque is always more.
