I haved followed Mazda since they came to the US and have bought one dozen of its cars, seven were rotarys. I think they will come out with MS model or a Special Edition for a year or more then go to a new car. I feel we are due for this....what if they came out with a MS8 and no other trim levels, how many of us Rotary Nuts would go buy one or get MS kits and do our own......what do you think?

One of these days a real Mazdaspeed thread will come up and we'll all dismiss it as a n00b post when in fact it will be coming! But... nah that'll never happen...

The rumor I heard is that the MS RX-8 is coming out next year with just a flywheel and off-the-shelf MS suspension.
The real highlight, is Mazdaspeed is changing its name to MazdaSuperSpeedTypeR.
Mazda marketing execs think this will be a real move towards excitement. But this will really only cause great jealousy and envy on 8club, as the Shinka owners will now feel like second class citizens and no longer be able to say "Shinka" every time they get a chance like what they really bought is something more special and unique than any other RX-8 on the road. Owners of the lowly Base Package will become so disillusioned that they will all collectively purchase the Mazdaspeed3 and go out looking for RX-8s to exact their vengeance by thrashing them at stoplights every chance they get.
8club will cease to be, and we will NEVER HAVE TO HEAR ABOUT THIS GODDAMN TOPIC AGAIN.
