RX-8 or 350Z?

I don't see why people have to scream or try to embarrass people who don't search something. All you gotta do is either reply " search this" , or just answer the question, ......or just don't reply at all. Think about others for a change, not just yourself.

If you are looking to get a Z, try to find a 05+. There were some issues with the 03 and 04 model years (transmission, tires, etc).
I have an 06 and have had zero problems. It is a pretty strong car. The only complaint is that the motor is not very FI friendly. But as for cornering, I have yet to find the limits of this car.
As for interior space, the Z fits me alot better than the 8. I am 6'4 and fit just fine in the Z. When I am driving my parents 8, my hair easily brushes the roof (GT model; sunroof). And being single w/ no kids, not having a backseat has yet to be a factor. Perfect car for going out w/ the wife/gf. Also, it gets you out of having to drive to lunch at work And I can fit plenty of groceries in the back, even with a sub box under the strut bar.
I'm glad you atleast test drove both vehicles before coming on here and asking for opinions. They are both great cars. If you like both of them and do not have a winner, just think about the practicality. Can you live with only having 2 seats for a few years? You can probably get a better deal on an 8 right now since most dealers are taking a few grand off the price.
That is the other thing to consider; resale value (if its important to you).

What I did was test drive, read some things compared them with what I felt from my on hands experience, when test driving and went with what made me smile the most.
Buying a Sprts car isn't a smart decison spending more money on a car then the base model sedan, that you can only really enjoy 2 or 3 seasons that has limited cargo room or small rear seats or only two seated. Thats built for looks and go fast (that includes the RX-8) that sits low to the ground doesn't fit well in the snow or heavy rain. The RX-8 might be the smartest move here in buying a sport car because it straddle the line of a sedan. But is still sits low and built for speed and don't equal snowmobile.
I know some people drive their SC all year round but the thought of some unfortunate clown sliding into my SC in the snow is a nightmare!!!
Let your heart lead you, drive like hell which ever you choose, have fun.
Daytona Blue 06 my that is a pretty cars!!

First off I'd like to thank 636, coll3735, donack456, sosonic, and camaro194 for being mature, polite, and fully reading my initial question.
For all you other dumb *** childish impatient ***** who clearly didn't finish reading my post understanding that i DID do research and I DID look online.... GROW.... UP.... The question was not to help me research the basics, it was to help me research the major (if any) problems of the 350Z. In other words... If you have one or know a person who has one do they have any major problems. Leg room is not a problem... torque is not a problem.... Shifting to 3rd with a initial grinding is a problem... reving the engine and hearing or getting abnormal vibration is a problem... Get it? Go play WOW if your going to talk sensless **** about things you don't know...
Continuing the topic at hand. I think the RX-8 would be great. Thanks for the site 636 for the rotory engine. I wasn't going to get it right off the bat. I expected it to be costly. But maybe in a year or two I wanted to do it and possibly take really good care of the car and use it strictly for ammature racing. That is the current plan anyways. I agree with the handling comments for the RX-8. It performs really well and is surprisingly smooth. I have not test drove a porche or anything but I thought that the tranny in the RX-8 was very commfortable. Yea that was prolly spelled wrong. Anyways. I think I have made up my mind. thanks for the info and the websites for the engine. Ill check that out.

I hate to break this to you, but you are a damn fool coming to RX-8 CLUB and asking us to help you research the problems of a 350Z.
"Dumb-*** childish impatient *****?" This coming from AkinaGod? Stick to initial-d kid.
Not even worth any more comments.

Did you seriously just resort to "lets-make-fun-of-your-name" back in 3rd grade? Like I said... Go play WoW.

As much info Pros and Cons about both vehicles that's on this forum I'm surprise that its not copied and pasted to support both ends. I mean he is leaning toward buy a RX-8 thats what you want Right?? Help him make the right decision, You helped me make mine.
I like statistical information but its just that, its not facts but its used to run Fortune 500 Companies.
Basically count the recall on TSB of each vehicles and measure what has merits thats are important to you.
Both are really nice cars but on opposite sides of the performance spectrum. I like both and feel wow after driving each. Both make me smile, one wider then the other, slightly. Like a pretty woman with big legs and one with pretty eyes, big legs and dimples!! Gives Me, Weak knees.

Just to be useful. (AkinaGod, we get at least 3 of this kind of thread every-single-freakin-week. It gets very annoying and people always have the same responses when told to search or are flamed, including you.)
Quick answers:
FI (i.e. turbo or supercharing your car) will run you roughly $7,000 - $10,000
(Not including the gredy, that takes home work which you haven't done,)
People have reached ~330 hp with FI
3 rotar (20b) conversion will run you ~$50,000 [i.e. not worth it]

50,000 sure sounds steep.
