RX-8: Horsepower increases likely will occur, but do not expect major changes to the four-door RX-8 car because a true coupe and a convertible are planned. Timing for the two models could be anywhere from the 2007 to the 2009 model year.

maybe, maybe not. They do say "HP increases", they just don't say how...

 

well, when we do eventually see actual numbers...for the most part i think we'll know.

Well let's see....could the RX8 coupe be an RX7? Seems that the RX8 should remain a four door, afterall that's the one the key things that makes it and RX8, or maybe I'm confused as to what you are saying.

 

mazda hides their cards well, so i'm not gonna bother wasting brain cell guessing 'what they gonna do next', and just enjoy driving my underpowered 4 door coupe

 

A convertible rx8 would have me trading about the time they could get one off the hauler!!!
