Hey all,

I'd like to create an RX-8 font that I could use in ordinary word editing programs. Actually, I'd really just like to use the RX-8 font, but since I don't think any exist, I think I could figure out how to create a font. The technical side of it I bet I could do...but the artwork? Yeah no. So would anyone like to volunteer to help me with the individual letters' artwork? Obviously R, X, -, and 8 are already well defined, but you could have some artistic freedom with the other characters. Of course, the trick is making it look like they belong to the RX-8 Font Family, and that's where I'm sure my own artwork would not cut it.

I'd like to post it somewhere where other rx8club members could access it too, but first things first...and that's getting the thing made. (I hope creating a font isn't a much bigger task than I bargained for. Oh well, that's a risk I'm willing to take)

So, any good artists here willing to help?

Creating a typeface isn't too difficult if you have the right program. The hardest part is creating the letters and doing the kerning. I've done it but it's been a while.

I may try drawing up some letter and see how it goes.
