Have you heard....

If you know three languages, you're tri-langual,
If you know two languages, you're bi-langual,
If you know one language, you're American.
Mais je suis presque certain que je sois Americain, 'ej wej Hol vIjatlhlaHlaw', so what am I?

(by the way it's "lingual", not "langual")

Say goodbye to your warranty as soon as Mazda reads this post.

You don't believe me, ask Abbid.

Get a clue OP, going 150mph is stupid for one, and will kill gas mileage.

Mods, delete this thread.

I like to drive my car FAST and will never judge another driver for driving his sports car fast. But please, please be carefull when you do it. There are so many things that can go worng at these speeds. I think qucik blasts on an open highway or freeway up to 120 or so are fine but 150 is insane and should be left to the track.

Just my 2 cents - BE CARFULL the cops would have a field day if they caught you.

Read what I said. It was a joke. About eating too much pie. That's all.

Do I need to be 19 to understand or accept this OR am I being overly prickish on thinking that 6th grade writing levels should be required to drive? Geesh, writing like that suggest you can barely read road signs.

Anyway, yeah the car is smooth at speed. If you're not on a track going that speed is not wise --- now let me tell you about the time I drove from Reno to Yellowstone in a rented 944 passing a Cal Hwy Patrol Mustang going the other way at a closing speed estimated at well over 160 with his speed at 60...

Ok, that's cool. I was just afraid people were taking me seriously. People around here are so touchy about what's faster than what, and that's a whole new world for me. Me, I could care less, long as my car goes fast enough for me (and it does, which is why it is and shall remain stock).

Dude, you may be jeopardizing your Mazda sponsorship by making statements so blatantly ignorant.

I might have PM'd you on this, but there are several members backing you here. Anyone talking that way has obviously never actually TRIED testing the 8's top speed. Stock sans aero will go through 150 like butter.

For any non-believers, there are many threads with first hand accounts in many conditions across several continents. Here's one thread with speedo pix in both mph and kph:
