RX-8 gone today, thanks everyone!
I sold the RX-8 today to a local older couple for the wife to drive. It's going to a good home though as she also rides a Kawasaki ZX6R Ninja! I wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the tech info and advice for the last year and a half, I hope I was able to contribute some as well. Had some good times, 1 season of autocross, 2 trips from Dallas to Houston in comfort for the Houston GP and about 5 trips to the dealer for small stuff like broken visor, foggy headlights/tailights etc. The replacement will be here Wednesday but until then the Miata gets the whole garage to itself
I will still be co-driving a 06 RX-8 next season in SCCA B-stock so I look forward to that and will probably still lurk in the suspension/competition subforums.
And finally a few pics of the car in autocross form (MS springs, Konis, 17X9.5 Enkeis)

I was thinking about getting a custom TX plate that says NotMR2 (Not a MR2) since people always get them confused.

Only bad is that its hard to get in and out of the Lotus. And I am a bit over 5 foot. Wonder how those 6 footers get in and out of the Elise.
There was one at the race track a couple of weeks ago. Seems like could just walk over it without even trying to jump.
Also seems like I could put it in my back pocket.
It's a sweet ride.
Good luck

bummer, think I woulda kept the 8 over the lotus. An autox buddy of mine had an elise and now an exige, and I'm not overly impressed with their overallness... too tracky for street use... but it is a dang pretty car.
