hi i drove a rx8 a while back. I am looking to get a 2006 auto shinka edition. i drove the auto from 2004 with less power about a couple years back. i like the look of the rx8 and the interior. i have read the in and outs of the rotary and i ok with that. but i also test grove a 350z recently and loved the power. i was wondering if the 2006 219 hp is better then the old and what kind of power can one get form the engine with out a turbo.

People have been able to get up to 300 whp out of a decent turbo system. Don't expect it to be cheap though, as it's pricey.

You can get 20 more HP out of the manual vs the Auto, that's like the best bolt on you can get
