hi,
i'm new here... i live in italy and this morning me and the family (wife and two of 3 sons aged 6 and 1) went to local mazda show-room; there was one red with aero pack and we sat in all together, just to see how it feels... i'm 187 cm and 100 kg, my wife is 155... her opinion is that it's a little car for me and big for her, because she said she cannot look over the steering, end I hit the roof with the head...
I think it's great, you feel really confortable and it's bigger than other sport cars...
I am planning to buy the black one, leather, body extras for my birthday, next october...
I'll have a drive test soon....

Welcome. Good choice and good luck with the purchase. I am 166 cm and 66 kg and this car is not too big at all. I think it will fit your wife just fine if she makes some adjustments to the seat.

thanks,
I also think we were in hurry...
so we went to the dealer again, (another place, same owner), that is a friend, and now we are waiting for a call to have a ride...
I made my decision today: we'll have one for the end of 2004 or gen 2005;
now i'm collecting news and info as more is possible, and I will also join the '8 club here, in Italy;
i am a little worried about winter time, because i live at 900 mt, and snows very much... i have also a 4x4 so i think the '8 will rest in garage in the hardest days... I guess i want to buy winter tires anyway...
Bye,
Doc.
