RX-8 new owner

Hey my name zack and I'm stationed at FT.Bragg NC. I'm the new owner of a 05 GT pearl white RX-8. I love the car and its worth every penny I paided. Despite some set back I think Mazda did a great job. I'm not going to prettend I know anything about cars cause I don't. I'm young and curious and I want to learn. The little I did know about my 4cyl teg does no good now. I want to learn how to drive the car to its upmost capabilitie. I want to know how the rotary engine works inside and out. I'm just leting you know I'm out here and looking for people to become friends and learn from. Once again bump for a assume car.

studying the rotary huh? Well check out howstuffworks.com .....basically everything you need to know....

just a little advice...

1.) Check oil every 1K miles (( once every 500 miles for the first 10K in my own experience))
2.) Never ever turn the car off cold and let it warm a little before driving.
3.) Don't ever try and race a mustang in straight performance, kill them in the twisties j/k.....no seriously they can only drive straight ))
4.) Always use the search button when you need info...or you could pm me and i'll find it for ya

lol oh yeah it hot here. I'm home to the SPEC OPS thought and airborn of course. Umm yeah that what I did I read howstuffworks.com and rotarynews and rotary illistruted. I put a can of oil in every other fill up. LOL it funny I hear people asking question about oil change and what kind to use and if they have to warm their car up. It stated clearly in the manual that you have to keep a watch on your oil level and to let the car warm up before you do any driving and make sure it completely warm before you doing any performance driving. It also say make sure its completely warm to the half way point on ur gaguage before you turn it off. All you have to do is read your owners manual.

Wink Second thoughts....

Now you mention it, if you've read the Manual, you may already be "overqualified" for this forum.......

lol I just dont get it I search throught several forum and post in here. People ask question that could be found out by opening their owner manual. It only take a second. Then I notice they bitch cause something goes wrong with their car. Mabybe I'm out of my minded, but I thought it was just commen sense to read your OM. Well I look foward to contributing to this community soon as I catch on to the rotary engine. All make sure to keep the retard question to a minium and only ask about stuff that can't be simply found out. Or if I want some opinion. Well see you all around the forum maybe some of you on the road. see yeah
