Every magazine thats previewed/reviewed it so far has loved it.

I think its a hard car to compare against others though (I'm having trouble finding a real 1-to-1 competitor to compare against, we dont have the G35 or whatever in UK)

Its to sporty for things like the BMW330, Seats 4 so isnt a 350z/TT, isnt 4WD so a different machine to STI/Evo stuff.

Closest here is things like Toyota celica or something , but that isnt very 'sporty'.

Its a newish style of car, possibly comparable to something like the ol sierra cosworth. It'll either be a unique and reasonably rare car (like renault alpina or something) or others will copy.

As suicide doors look like the next big thing (and many manufacturers are copying mazda's) it might just start a new trend.

Journalists can be biased /

I agree that most articles have had favourable reports but then again so did the 350z only to dissapoint when i test drove it .Lets face it would mazda be so silly to invite journalist to laguna seca and allowthem to driveand test the car if they thought they would get an unfavourable report .
