love the CX-7! When I was goin through some buyers remorse initially, that was next of the list if I'd have went through with losin the 8. Still find myself happy though :-)

Congrats on the CX-7 -- I'm seeing them on the road here and there and they look sharp! I also sold my RX-8 back in July ('04 Touring 6MT, V-red, 15K miles) for exactly the same price you got for yours: $18K. I let it go for basically what my payoff was. I knew I'd have trouble selling it since it had had body and paint work done to the rear, even though the repair job was excellent and the car drove just like new.
I replaced it with a 2006 silver Mazda6 Sportwagon with a 5-speed. It's a nice car, but I sure miss the quick, nimble, perfectly-balanced RX-8 handling and feel. This wagon is the first wrong-wheel-drive car I've had in over 15 years and I'm still getting used to how it feels.
