RX-8 Tail Light Question/Idea

RX-8 Tail Light Question/Idea
Is it just me or do the RX-8 lights look similar to S2000's?
The tail lights definitely look similar, the fronts.. well its a bit of a stretch, but they too look alike.
The only reason i bring this up is because for my MX-5 i was thinking of molding the RX-8 tails onto the body. But i'm not sure if a Mazda S2000 would be welcome in this world.
What do you guys think?
