They are Japanese. Japanese version have had 250HP since 04. The new one seems to have less, but maybe more effective still.

Not power upgrades, but it does have two more oil injectors, a new OMP, oil pan, and bigger oil coolers.

Yes, that's true, I was only talking about differences relating to the engine.

i wonder if the new rx-8 is quicker and handels better then the older rx-8,the new rx-8 is 30kg heavry but it does have new transmisson as well as i comes with Bilstein suspension.

i would of thort mazda would of done a brake upgrade to a 4 pot or something just like the fd3s(rx-7).

oh yea on the in the factory option you can buy a 2 din audio kit so you can install what ever head unit you like as well as they've gauge kit.

Read somewhere that the new rx8 is regular gas compatible, but with lowered performance.

I was just talking to my friend in Japan and he said "the car is handles like a dream and total balance of the car is great”

Also he said “it sucks that the power has dropped to 235ps”
But he said that the car goes well than the previous rx-8 because of the diff and the final gear.
