RX-8's impression

Well well ...

I aint no n00b ...

Anyway, as some of you might know, my Front bumper got pwned in July, then my Rear got pwned in Aug, I got pretty pissed so I left my car at my gf's house. shortly after my Optima Red Top Died ... Yeah that was kinda my fault but still got VERY VERY pissed ...

Got the replacement for free (Thank god I kept my receipt), but it wasnt the "perfect" size anyway (it was a 75/35, it will drop in but terminal is on the other size, has to use extension cord which I dont like it), so I put the new one up on ebay and got myself a new Red Top Group 35 from Amazon ...

Battery came today, I was like ahh what the hell just put it on and drive it. Its been almost a month I kinda forgot how RX-8 feels like ...

So at around 9 oclock, all dark outside, Left my FIT with head light on so I can work on it ... took a while tho, so dark plus I have to remove the extension and put the old terminal back on. took me like 20-30 minutes ...

then drive ..

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

What a freaking BLAST !

First impression was "Damn, this is what Im talking about, THIS IS DRIVING !"

Impressive controls. Handling Ahhhhh

Well, Acceleration is not super fast, but compare to my 100 something horse FIT. Damn its "wicked" fast lmao.

I can actually take corners again. something not really possible with the FIT ... yeah I know FIT without mods = commuter car not a sports car but still ...

Car is still not fix, was driving around with that f-up bumper ...

but after the drive tonight ... **** ...

SCREW IT. IM GOING TO FIX IT FIRST ! ARGH !

-- End of story --

*no, you're not getting your 15 minutes of reading time back :P*

anyday.

I mean FIT is a great car for commuting. Great MPG. seats 5 comfy. can carry LOTS of stuff.

Im probably comparing Apples to Chicken (thats how extreme it is), but hmm ... 8 is more fun to drive around.
