Aside from a few of the common rattles, I have no problems what so ever. Its only got 22K mi. (1K of which has been with me), but performs flawlessly.

Only a few problems and 1 flood. The dealer in my area is pretty quick and my 8 is usually back on the road in no time.

I've never had this problem. I don't see people chiming in that don't have particular problems in the threads I start. Maybe you're just not a thread enthusiast like me.

No problems for me either. The only odd thing i get is weird noises when shifting into 2nd and 3rd. dealer claims there nothing but the synchros. standard gas mileage (18/24). I redline her often as well.

My 8 is great!! I think the biggest problem that some RX8's have is the inexperience of the driver.

It is always an evap leak. I bring it into the dealer and they replaced my gascap the first time because it was loose even though I tightened it as best I could. However it is still coming on even though I give it a solid 4 clicks like the dealer told me to with the new gascap.

Er... Maybe a rattling sound might be a first indication?

Clearly he hasn't had an official introduction, so he doesn't know their names.

I just call mine rattle #1, rattle #2, etc. The dealership also knows them by name, as the driver side door has been "repaired" three times now without success.

you mean to tell me your brakes dont squeel and your center console button has not been jacked up ?!!!

I envy you if not ... also, you have to consider recalls problems wouldnt you ? I mean if you have to take it in, or something has to be replaced or changed [something irregular] I would consider it a problem.

11,000 miles. Flawless performance since the day I brought her home.. Only gripe was the squeaky brakes.

Hey look my post count just went up.

There are no perfect cars!! If a problem is fixed under warranty is it a inconvience!
The problems that are not fixed to me under warranty are problems!!

If you have squeaky brakes take to the dealer.

Sorry to go OT here but can I just compare notes on this one?

I noticed like a vibration sound in my driver's door, compounded by stuff like the stereo. Thought it might have been the seal or something but finally narrowed it down when I leant against the piece of trim immediately above the armrest and it disappeared.

I've had the service guys look at it and it has diminished but not totally gone away. This sound like your problem?

Sounds exactly like my problem. But I can make the sound go away by pushing on the black part of the door immediately under the window glass. Even though this is a long standing issue, the dealership now tells me rattles are not warrenteed over 12 months. So I'm thinking about going to an audio specialist and having the door dynomatted.

Except for a front brake noise...fixed under warranty...no mechanical problems.

Read and followed the owner's manual- particularly engine break in.

Dealer changes the RX-8 oil. I change the G35 oil myself.

I still check my oil every other fuel fill-up or every two weeks.

Feels like its making more power than before too.

I dont complain about the MPG. Its a N/A 1.3L making 240 H.P.

But no problems.
