Just look at the "access" you have with the suicide doors. You dont get that anywhere else for the money. My little Angel has grown up more since that shot in SEP-05 & now sits on a booster seat. Still not an issue.

-rear facing is tight - but once it turns around no issues...my gf was short so we had no issue. Kid actually rides more in the 8 than in the bigger car. We both prefer the 8 - lol.
-get a good seat with a good latch system.....any car after 2003 should have latch but the child seats themselves have better and worse clips - also our latch system clips have nice holes but u still want to make sure they are small enough to fit without stretching anything. Latch system is awesome once u get used to it.
-naps are encouraged by rotary engines......
-kids love high rev's....
-my son is almost two - while my engine warms he thinks he is driving - he can currently - use up all my washer fluid and clean my windshield over and over, blasts sirius or radio turning ***** like mad, throws clutch side to side in nuetral, turns steering wheel from side to side, turns on lights, and burns daddy's *** with the seat warmer should I not pay close enough attention......he is a regular garage track star.
-get a seat that comes off the base for easy carry - while he is young u may end up toting him with u into places and letting him sleep through a nap goes a long way.
-get a seat that does not have a 30 pd limit - you can get one seat that is fine for rear face and goes to forward face all the way to 80-90 pds - we got one like that and another up to 30 - the 30 is done and we have since bought another - should have bought two good at the start.
-kids like to play peek-a-boo through the seat rotary symbol - u will be a hit.
congrats man....
