As weird as it sounds, this might be the wisest thing to do. I'd pay to see it.

I actually bought the car for 9gs at an auction and I gotta hand it to mazda its a looker its the touring 18"s,xenons,n sunroof other than that its a piece of crap starting from the interior "stereo" to its gearbox, I cant say im proud owner since the piece of crap got its engine replace 2 months ago. I had good luck cause it still had factory warranty done 2 months ago. The whole reason for this thread was to see if i could get the piece of junk to do something fun, I have a 06 GTI with a DSG flappy paddle gear box, front wheel drive smokes rubber like a mo fo, and beats manual rx8,s and for all i know the 8 might be better at the track but I use mine on the street ohh and i forgot 8 "16 mpg" GTI 22 mpg, thanks anyways

Well good for you, the car was designed for twisties not launching off lines and street racing garbage along side of rice eating lawnmowers, if your GTI is sooooo great compared to the 8 then why you even bother spending your 9gs home slice

Chill out dude. I know people were kinda harsh but in the end you got your answer. Someone told you (with a numbered bullet list, nothing less) how to rev it while standing on the brakes AND warned you that you'll probably end up killing your tranny. It's a very complete answer! Don't go dissing your own property to try to get back at the posters you resent!

By the way, if you're looking for something fun to do with your 8, take it to the nearest mountains (hope you're not dead in the middle of the flatlands). I take mine at least once a year for a weekend drive in the Adirondacks and it's a blast.

One last thing... I like the GTI but talking from experience it does NOT beat a manual RX-8. 1st gear is close and the GTI will even pull a bumper but once the 8 is in second it just pulls away.

Maybe after lunch, between chemistry class and pep rally you can go out in the parking lot and work on your burnout skills.

grow up.

Then you're an absolute certified dumb *** for buying it, keeping it, ranting about it, asking how to do a burnout on a 4AT, and calling your own car a piece of crap when YOU decided to buy it.

Of course the GTI "smokes rubber like a mo fo", it's FWD. Even my friends econobox automatic FWD Sentra "smoke rubber". My other friends fwd econobox Infiniti I30 with a foot pedal e-brake "smokes rubber". Doesn't mean it's better than any other car because it can spin its tires without the car moving.

A manual rx8 will walk on a GTi without a doubt so maybe you should do some research on that. The GTi does get better mileage so I guess you're right on ONE thing.

Thanks for playing.

All this time I thought the key to successful performance driving was to achieve grip...

Performance Driving is achieved through seeing how fast your rubber escapes the rim, of course.

This kid is quite funny, our car is a piece of crap because it's an Automatic and can't "Burn rubber like a mo fo"?

Short of your gas mileage comment, you're wrong.

I raped the **** out of an 06 GTi from a roll, at that, yesterday.

Good luck burning out.

hey everyone, take it easy on miguel.....he's obviously mentally retarded. This guy was intelligent enough to ask why he cant do burnouts in his 9K AT, then when he gets educated responses, he calls his own car a piece of crap. Then rants to a bunch of RX8 owners why his VW Rabbit is better. Well.....for one, my RX8 has walked on plenty of GTi's, and im sure that your "piece of crap RX8" will probably yield more ***** than your Rabbit. So go ahead and digest this response, soak it in, and reply with an intelligent response that you thouroghly thought about before posting, and also you should really use commas like a mo fo in your responses, my IQ is dropping everytime I read your posts fu. Want to do a burnout, buy an MT or some bolt ons, otherwise enjoy what you got and dont diss your own car like a moron and embarress yourself even further........peace out holmes!

If he didn't post like troll folder, then this thread wouldn't be anywhere NEAR as entertaining as it is now!
