I think it was an SBC commercial. They were advertising their high speed internet, and they chose a black 8 to represent the speed. Just thought I'd share.

 

hahaha, ive been wondering if that was an 8 for a while... couldn't see the 4 doors though, and i couldn't see if the wheel well was as large as an 8's, but im glad to see im not the only person that noticed that

ok i admit, they are using the "looks fast" tactic.

 

I initially thought the same thing, but after seeing the commercial a few more times it doesn't look exactly like an RX-8. Seems more like they took a concept/design CAD model and used that.

 

They definatley should have used a civic instead...
