RX8 Customer Warranty Card
Hi Guys does anyone know how to get another copy of the customer service we all got when the "Horsepower" issue was addressed? I believe it was only for the 2004 owners. I had the card but lost it when my wallet was stolen...thanks for any help.

Hey CrowBoy are you looking for a new card or just a copy of the letter?I think that the letter was posted on the forum back in 2003 so try a search for that. As for a new card, you can try Mazda customer assistance at 1 (800) 222-5500 from 6AM - 4:45PM Pacific Time. The only way that I think that they would do anything for you though is if the service period is still in effect for your car, and it has to be getting to the end. It was 4 years or 50,000 miles. That's the only thing that I can think of that would work and best of luck.
The card just has a picture of a red RX8 and the rotor symbol on the front along with 'Free Factory Scheduled Maintenance'. On the back it has the card's VIN and the owner's name along with some marketing guff. They were given to people who ordered their car's in reliance on the original 250HP rating which was lowered first to 247HP then to 238HP. That triggered Mazda to give all who had ordered the option to elect out of their contracts, or return the car as may be, or to get a $500 debit card and free scheduled maintenance. That was the deal, and it all happened in 2003. A very long time ago now indeed.

Glad that worked out for you. It's the four years thing that is going to knock you out of free service, but boy was that little card helpful when it came spark plug time! I've got over 66K miles so it has been a while since I could use it. It's nice to know that someone is still collecting from Mazda .
