well if i may. and im kinda in this situation myself i will be a new father in may and my 8 i love(obviously) and the drive is great, i sell insurance door 2 door so driving all day w/ gas mileage sucks *****. but i love my 8. on the other hand ive driven a g coupe. was very impressed i love the steering of it and of coarse the power has a very noticeable difference in comparison to the 8. i am (to myself) thinking about trading in my 8. i have 98k miles on it. and an extra 100k or 5 yr warranty on it. but still i loved the drive in the g35 and it does have a "grown man" feel to it! if i was you he g 3 5 would be my choice. which in fact originally was my first choice just couldnt finance that much yet!
thanks for the input man. It makes a lot sense.

funny you ask..i so wish i could trade in my 8 for a g35 coupe..i am obsessed with them, dont get me wrong, love my 8..but really love g35 coupes. my mom has an fx35..traded in her H2 for it..it is a SWEET crossover..fasttt, luxurious, and the exhaust sounds amazing. Id for sure go with one of those..id love to have a G37 S coupe for my next car! Oh..there is a 2006 Infiniti G35 coupe near me for sale..only like 30,XXX miles for like $14K!! It has the intelligent key, bluetooth, and all..plus clean title..greatt buy. Very nice cars. Good luck!!

Don't sell yourself short. A Subaru is just getting warmed up at 100k miles. I traded mine in for the 8 at 215,000 miles and it probably had more life in it than that. Best car I've ever owned in regards to reliability.

^ Yeah he said coupe.
I've driven the G35 and the 350z. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the looks of them, but after driving them..... meh.... Fast, but the mt feels far to gated. I like alittle slop space to play with getting from 2nd to 3rd and so on. Also felt very clostraphobic (sp) in the g35. (How do you think they got those back seats in there?)
Go with what feels more comfortable after driving them.
