Rx8 has very little roll back
#27
Regular lights i stay in neutral, but like leaving work where theres a stop sign on a hill where your pretty much looking into the sky, no hand brake, just hit the sweet spot with the clutch and gas and wait till no cars are coming by on the hwy. And who called evos ricers lol..wtf

I have 45,000 miles on the stock clutch for a 3800 lb 400hp car that has been to the drag racing track dozens of times.
Do the math.
To the OP of this original thread... I think I figured it out. You know how you can force your car to rollback at a stop? As your braking just before you come to a stop, make sure youre braking enough to make the nose of the dive just a bit. Lift the brake the microsecond you come to a stop. It will reverse your momentum and you'll rollback with force. Surely, more people than myself know how to do this stupid little trick.
Is it possible your perception that the RX8 doesn't rollback is because the RX8's suspension is stiffer, and may dive as much, making this marginally more difficult to do by mistake?

I don't do that.

Same goes for the sunroof. I have it open all the way when I can, whats wrong with that? I just don't see how I'm a ricer for using the stuff that came on my car stock.
