Is the RX8 model stopping?
I've just got a 2006 mazda 6 as a first car. In a few years time I would really love to look at getting a RX8(always loved them since they came out).

In a few years from now it will be 2012/2013... I had a quick google and read that there would be no new version of the RX8, only the RX9(which is a new rx7?)

Anyone have more info on this?

Do a search, check the General Automotive section.

No new RX car for 2 or 3 years.

there will be no 2012 RX8 and probably wont be any new RX car for a couple years.

So you think that they still might continue even after they start on the RX9?
Would be nice if they got the new X16 engine in a new 8:D

What? No. And it is probably not gonna be called the RX9 unless it is bigger than the 8 and then I doubt it will sell.
