Talking RX8 Problems?

Well I talked to my Mazda guy today in Japan and he is straight with me, you will be happy to know, NO I repeat NO known problems are hitting the RX8s here in Japan.

P.S. I only asked this since some people asked me, and also there was 3 of them in the garage on the lift haha

Peace out

JT

JT, that's great to hear! I've been debating on whether to take the plunge and be a first year owner or wait for the 2005s (or at least until Jan. '04). But so far, it looks like Mazda really got it right, and the RX-8 is near perfect right out of the box. (Aside from the dyno mystery.)

No: there's definitely a mystery. In the same way that UFOs definitely exist but alien spacecraft probably don't.

I don't drive a dyno. I drive an RX-8 and damn proud of it!:D
Seven MPs (military police) were standing around my RX-8 in awe yesterday. One of them said, "You can go as fast as you want." Nice gesture but I'll still stick to the speed limit.
The only problem I forsee is someone trying to hold me responsible for their twisted neck as they jerk around to look at the car from the opposite direction.

he was refering to the idea that UFOs exist bc of speculation and hearsay, but they really dont exist.

In other words, he's saying that there isnt a real problem with the 8 (ie renesis design), but some ppl here are speculating there is one.

Not quite and jonalan wasn't being serious. I meant that there definitely IS a mystery about the dyno results in the same way that there are definitely unidentified flying objects. The question is what the UFOs actually are and what the answer to the mystery actually is.

so you mean to say that E.T. was just a movie????

hehe...that cool that no problem are going on in Japan

My guess is that the numbers for the 3 dyno's done so far could be just normal deviations out of the several thousand rx-8's out there. I dont think you can really base too much assumptions on just 3 dynos and generalize it to the whole population of 8's out there but i agree that only time will tell.

still, the 8 is a fabolous car :D
